About the Event

A one hour interactive event lead by yoga instructor Vicky Kalonomos and Certified Culinary Nurtition Educator Sabrina Cooper.

Sabrina will walk you through the making of a delicious digestive buddha bowl, giving tips and essentials to keep the gut healthy and improve digestion.  Recipe and handouts will be sent prior to the event so that you can make this delicious recipe with Sabrina or just watch and enjoy yours at a later time.  

Vicky will explain the importance of specific yoga poses that can be use to aid with digestion and keeping everything moving.  The poses will be simple and ones that anyone can do as needed.  These yoga poses are essential in keeping the mind and gut connection healthy and relieving symptoms of bloating, constipation, and tummy discomfort.  

The event wil be live but will be recorded in the event that you cannot join us and would like to watch at a later date.  The recipe and handouts will be included and sent out to you.  

Vicky began her yoga journey in 2013.  As a busy mother and full time Law Clerk, yoga was her outlet for inner health, peace and strength.  She began to grow very passionate about the physical aspects of yoga, and wanted to share the benefits of yoga with others.

Vicky graduated as an RYT 280 in 2015, and has completed several workshops including Acro Yoga and Arm Balances. She recently acquired her certification in Pilates for Yoga.  Her classes mainly focus on a combination of full body strengthening/stretching, with an emphasis on balance, proper alignment, detoxifying the body, good health, and having a great time!  Vicky aims to help her students gain confidence and awareness both in her classes and in everyday life.

Sabrina was in the Dental profession for many years a  Dental Hygientist with a Bachelors in Oral Health Promotion for twenty one of of those years.  She had some digestive issues and health concerns which led her to  pursue her certification as a Culinary Nutrition Expert.  Along her journey of healing she completed a 200 YTT in yoga, 50 TT in mindfulness meditiation, Fermenation and Herbal ceritifications.  She is loves continuing her education and is currently completing a ceritfication in MIndful Eating practices.  

Sabrina leads hands on culinary nutrition workshops for youth inspiring a hunger for health.  She also has recently started a not for profit charity The Nourish Well Community Project bringing healthy food initiatives to youth and families in low income environments both locally and internationally.  Empoweing individuals on their heatlhy journey, one on one or in a group setting,  brings much gratitude and happiness.
